Pre-registration for In person attendance:<\/span><\/strong><\/p>\n

The 2024 pre-registration fees for in person attendance<\/strong> are valid until March 5, 2024, and are as follows:<\/p>\n

1. Presenter, Reader or Presenter Session Chair:<\/p>\n

$125 for faculty members, independent scholars and playwrights (unless playwright is\u00a0 a graduate student)<\/p>\n

$100 for graduate students<\/p>\n

2. Non-presenter Session Chair: $80<\/p>\n

3. Guest: $70<\/p>\n

4. Student Guest: $40<\/p>\n

5. One-day guest passes: $30 ($20 for students)<\/p>\n

The in person pre-registration fee for categories 1 \u2013 4 covers all conference events and services, including the conference reception. One-day passes include conference admission only (including plenaries and keynote event).<\/p>\n

Presenters are required to pre-register.<\/span> Those whose papers are accepted are expected to attend the conference; papers are not read in absentia. Submitters of abstracts are also advised to apply for travel funds from their home institutions as early as possible. International attendees please visit this page<\/a> for further instructions.<\/p>\n

In Person Registration after March 5:<\/span><\/strong><\/p>\n

For those who wish to register for in person attendance after March 5 or at the conference, the fees increase by category to<\/p>\n

  1. $145 (faculty members) \/$110 (graduate students)<\/li>\n
  2. $90 (Non-presenter session chair)<\/li>\n
  3. $80 (Guest)<\/li>\n
  4. $50 \u00a0(Student guest)<\/li>\n
  5. One-day pass fees remain the same.<\/li>\n<\/ol>\n

    Virtual Participant Registration:<\/strong><\/p>\n

    The 2023 pre-registration fees for virtual<\/strong>\u00a0attendance<\/strong> are valid until March 5, 2024, and are as follows:<\/p>\n

    Virtual participants will have access to the all the virtual sessions.\u00a0\u00a0<\/p>\n

    The conference hotel will be held at the DoubleTree by Hilton in Downtown Orlando.<\/p>\n

    The rates are $155 a night (two queen size beds). \u00a0 The hotel is extending the rate before and after the conference to allow attendees to mix their conference participation with some Central Florida adventures.<\/p>\n

    Transportation from Orlando International Airport<\/span><\/strong><\/p>\n<\/div>\n

    (Please be aware that there are three airports in the Central Florida that have Orlando in their title: \u00a0Orlando Sanford airport [40 minutes from downtown], Orlando Melbourne Airport [60-75 minutes from downtown] and the Orlando International Airport [20 minutes from downtown]. \u00a0Most major carriers service Orlando International Airport. \u00a0Please double check when you book your flights.)<\/h3>\n<\/div>\n

    There are numerous ways to get from the Orlando International Airport to the DoubleTree hotel.<\/h3>\n

    Renting a car<\/strong><\/p>\n

    You can rent a car (in case you come with family members who want to hit the parks while you attend the conference). \u00a0All the major rental car agencies are located at the airport. \u00a0 (In case you want to rent a car for the day, there is an\u00a0Enterprise Rental Car Agency just a few blocks from the hotel.<\/a>) \u00a0The hotel has a parking deck (around 30 dollars a day) but also on street free parking.<\/p>\n

    Taxi<\/strong><\/p>\n

    The average cost of a taxi ride is $55, depending on traffic.<\/p>\n

    Uber\/Lyft<\/strong><\/p>\n<\/div>\n

    My most recent trips on Lyft from Downtown Orlando to the airport have been around 20-25 dollars.<\/p>\n

    Public Bus<\/strong><\/p>\n

    You can take the Lynx bus and get from the airport to the hotel for $2.50<\/p>\n
