How to get involved with New Hope For Kids

FoxWired’s Campaign Snapshot for New Hope For Kids

We at FoxWired produced a campaign snapshot for New Hope For Kids to improve audience engagement in New Hope For Kids’ Facebook, Twitter and website pages, and to increase the number of donors and donations in the Art of the Vine annual event.

The campaign is the result of a semester-long research process from mid-January to the end of April, 2018. We were able to learn and identify the audiences and stakeholders of New Hope For Kids by visiting their site, attending the Art of the Vine annual event and interviewing attendees, and utilizing third party services such as Nibbler and Website Grader to analyze the strengths and weaknesses of New Hope For Kids’ website and social media pages.

We are very grateful for the opportunity of having worked with one of the best nonprofit organizations in central Florida, and we hope that you visit New Hope For Kids’ website.

New Hope for Kid’s Wishes for Kids Program

The Children’s Wish Program was founded In 1985. It is the longest running wish program in Central Florida. Children’s Wish was created to provide hope and a once in a lifetime experience to children fighting a life-threatening illness. New Hope for Kids Wishes for Kids Program continues the legacy by providing wishes for children that other organizations, in the Central Florida area, are not able to serve. Although the Wishes for Kids Program is not able to cure the life-threatening illnesses of the child, it is proud to grant wishes and make a child’s last moments on earth the best they can possibly be. The Wishes for Kids program goes beyond the wish, offering support, resources and community for these special families. New Hope for Kids Wish program is unique for the following reasons:

  • FOCUS
Unlike other wish-granting organizations, New Hope for Kids Wish Program is not affiliated with a national organization, but is an independent, locally based charity that focuses on Central Florida children.
  • FOLLOW-UP
Because most of our wish recipients live in the vicinity, New Hope for Kids is able to provide additional services and support beyond the wish itself. Families help each other while forming lasting relationships.
  • FLEXIBILITY
New Hope for Kids is able to meet a wide spectrum of needs through wishes and community resources.

Our Wish Program needs your support! Consider becoming a Wish Partner!

Wawa Sponsors 25th Annual Mascot Games to Benefit New Hope for Kids

The 25th Annual Mascot Games, sponsored by Wawa, comes to the Amway Center in Orlando Florida, on June 22nd and 23rd, 2018. All proceeds for this event benefit New Hope for Kids, which is a non-profit organization that brings hope and healing to those children suffering from the loss of a loved one, or going through a life threatening illness.

This event features roughly around 30 different mascots from sports teams across the nation, competing in a variety of games including gladiator themed, to see who is the true champion of the mascot world. Bring your kids and family so you can see the happiest versions of themselves, as this is one of the most fun events on the New Hope for Kids’ calendar. If you want to give back to the community in other ways, there are volunteering opportunities too. For more information on how to purchase tickets or volunteering opportunities, visit the New Hope for Kids website.
