I can not believe our time here in Münster is almost over! These past four weeks have flown by because we have stayed so busy. This past weekend our group was able to travel to Reutlingen in southern Germany to attend the graduation ceremony of EBS business school. EBS business school is partnering with rollins for the dual degree program so this was a very neat experience. Saturday morning we traveled to Freiburg to meet Luisa (our Fulbright scholar from last year). I was so excited to see Luisa again, especially in her hometown. Freiburg was absolutely beautiful!! It was full of cobblestone streets, flower boxes, and the traditional Bavarian architecture.
Now that we are back in Münster I have been tying up some lose ends, like sending postcards and buying souvenirs. This trip has been such an amazing experience I am sad to see it coming to an end. I have made so many new friends from not only Germany, but all over the world. I have seen some of the most beautiful sights, from mountains and forests to gorgeous cathedrals and Bavarian architecture. I have tasted many amazing new foods full of different flavors, and sampled every tiramisu gelato I could find. I have studied a new language and lived amongst Germans for a month. Along the way I have not only lost myself in the German way of life, but have found a great appreciation and love for their culture. I know I will be back soon! Bis später!!
That river photo is lovely! I hope you’ll consider entering it in the International Education Week Photo Contest!
Danielle, your posts are always my favorite because you post so many pictures. I had an awesome time in Germany with you and hopefully i’ll see you soon. Have a great rest of your summer and good luck at Rollins this coming spring.
