Preparing for my upcoming semester in London I find myself frantically getting myself together. Deciding what to pack and how much to pack are common thoughts that flow through my mind. I have 4 more days until I leave. I feel prepared however running last minute errands are undoubtedly stressful. I just returned from a blissful New Years vacation with my friend’s family in the Caribbean. Now that I spent time basking in the sun and swimming in the clear blue sea, I am preparing myself for the cold yet exciting journey that lies ahead in London. I have been notified that I will be interning for D&D London restaurant group. I am excited to have been afforded the opportunity to work for this company as I have always found myself fascinated with the dining experience. I have asked my friend’s father who frequently works out of London and he has informed me of his fondness for D&D restaurants. This reassures me that I will be working for an excellent company as I highly regard the word of my friend’s father for he is an extremely successful internationally travelled businessman as well as food connoisseur. He also told me that London is his favorite city at the moment for the good vibes the city manifests. I am remarkably excited for the experiences I will have in London and for the other students I will meet through the CAPA program.
