January 20,
London is amazing. This first week has been hard because of factors like jet lag and having to adjust to living with six other people in a five bedroom two bathroom flat. However, no matter if I’m tired or cramped I’m still in London. I have this amazing opportunity ahead of me and so much to learn and explore that any negative aspect of my adjustment to this new lifestyle is barley relevant. Well the cold is a bit of a pain, but that’s besides the point. My flat is on Goldhawk road in Shepherd’s Bush. The area is dangerous, for my wallet. It’s right around the corner from one of the largest malls in western Europe, Westfield Mall, which has every shop you could possible imagine. I’m also located right by a concert venue called the O2 Empire. I plan on seeing whose going to perform their and hopefully I can get over there for a show. I’ve only just scratched the surface of my little area let alone London and if I’m already enjoying it this much I can’t imagine what life will be like soon. Hopefully I have money left to travel after I’m done visiting every shop in the mall.
