My semester in London has officially come to an end. As I write this I am currently sitting in Gatwick airport with my parents waiting to embark on a trip to Barcelona. My parents came to visit me in London for the past 3 days and help me pack up my belongings. After showing them all the wonderful tourist sites of London such as Big Ben, Westminster Abby, The House of Parliament, the London Eye, Buckingham Palace, Kensington Gardens, Hyde Park and even one debauchery filled night in Soho we are waiting to embark on our first family vacation in several years. In my semester abroad I’ve had the opportunity to visit Whales, the Netherlands, and Italy and it’ll be nice to add Spain to collection of places I’ve traveled. However, one thing that I have learned from classes and Spanish friends is that Barcelona is not like Spain. It is a part of the Catalan region which wants independence from Spain which is similar to the relationship between England and Scotland. Catalan or Spain, I’m beyond excited to see a part of Europe that I have never seen before as well as to spend some quality time with my parents who I have not seen in nearly four months.
They have Whales in Wales?
ah crap one second lol
can’t figure out how to edit this so….Looks like it’s stuck
