The picture I included are of giraffes at Bioparc in Valencia and Valencia beach. I went to Valencia last weekend and spent plenty of time on the beach. I would definitely recommend Valencia to any students doing the Verano program next year. There’s plenty of things to do and see in Valencia like modern architecture, science expos, tours, a huge park that stretches the length of the city, and even a zoo. The Bioparc is on the north side of the city (the park ends/starts at the zoo), but there’s plenty of buses that go that way. I would really recommend the zoo as well as the beach but try and buy the tickets from your hotel/hostel because it’s much cheaper. I paid 15€ at my hostel and at the gate its 24€ per person. I stayed at Feetup Home Hostel which is located in the old part of the city. Oh by the way, the horchata and tradicional paella (chicken and rabbit) in Valencia are out of this world!
Hasta luego!
