It’s funny when you plan on doing something that you know will change you, but there’s no way of knowing how. As an INB requirement, I needed an experience abroad. I approached this program as such and didn’t expect much to change. Now, I feel quite the opposite. At the same time, I sure don’t mind being back in the states. Studying in another country, especially one that primarily consists of people speaking a foreign language, allows you to really appreciate the little things. From air conditioning to just going for a drive. The little things. As I sit here and cope with my jet lag, my head is still flooding with memories of places like Kapital, Calendario, and over-stuffed buses. I can finally sit here and appreciate the ridiculousness of those morning buses. Anyway, thanks for the memories Spain. You will be missed.
