I knew London had numerous places to visit and explore, which is why I chose to study abroad here. In the past few days I had the chance to see some of the well-known monuments and places around London!
The Buckingham Palace was on the top of my list for things I wanted to see while here. I’ve always seen the Palace on t.v. and in pictures, but I never would have guessed I would be seeing it in person! This was absolutely breathtaking, from the intricate detail on the gates to the overall massive size, the Buckingham Palace was everything I thought it would be and plus some! I plan to do a walking tour inside the Palace later this month, which I am very excited about!
I also got to see the London Eye, the London Bridge, Big Ben, The Victoria and Albert Museum, Hyde Park, and other small monuments. However, there are so many other places I can’t wait to visit like Camden Market, Platform 9 3/4, The Tower of London, Hampton Court Palace, Kew Gardens, and that’s just naming a few! I’m excited to what the next couple of months have in store!
