It is amazing to see how fast time goes by when you are abroad. I’ve been in Australia for two months already and only have two months left before I go back to Venezuela. As I enter the mid semester, the uni (as Aussies call it) has been getting pretty tough. The work load has been increasing dramatically and I can only think about how rough the exam period is going to be. The professors in the University have been amazing so far and I can easily acknowledge how privileged I am to study in the most prestigious university of Australia. I love most of the classes I am taking and I have learned a lot from my marketing job in the Central Business District. On the weekends I go East to the beach where I stay with a bunch of friends I’ve made. They have a nice house in Bondi just 5 minutes away walking from the beach. The weather has been finally getting warmer, but the water still feels like the ice bucket challenge. The days have been beautiful with clear skies where you can’t spot a single cloud. I can’t wait for the summer to arrive so I can surf and walk around semi-naked feeling like a true Aussie. It is just amazing to see how fast time goes by when you are having fun!
