Traveling around London has been exciting. I have been able to visit various landmarks and sporting events. One of the first places that I visited was Oxford st. It was very busy and reminded me of New York’s fifth Avenue because of all the stores and tourists. Near by I visited Chinatown and witnessed a dragon parade. Then I went to Leicester Square which is similar to broadway. There I saw Robert De Niro on the red carpet for the opening of his new movie “The Intern”. From there I went to Soho and Kingly street. It had many small bars and good places to eat.
Later in the day, I visited the London Eye. It is the worlds tallest observation wheel. I was able to get some great views of London while I was on it and saw London from a different point of view. The London eye has become a landmark in London’s skyline.
I also had a chance to go to a National Football League game in London between the Jets and the Dolphins. While American Football is not one of the traditional sports in England, It was a cool feeling to be a part of something that was unusual to the English people. Unfortunately for the Dolphins, The Jets came out on top.
