Hi again!
Last time I mentioned our extravaganza of a fall break travelling throughout Ibiza, Barcelona, and Paris over a span of 10 days. Words cannot describe these experiences; Ibiza was great to experience and definitely a unique spot to visit, but Barcelona and Paris are most definitely two of my favorite cities of all time. Nothing against Ibiza, I loved it and had a great time, but besides experiencing their nightlife and a couple of beaches, you have pretty much taken care of that city. To put Barcelona into perspective, envision grand cities such as Los Angeles and Miami combined, and then some. This city must be the most beautiful and lively city over summer while the weather is sunny. What also made it more memorable for me was being able to visit one of my favorite sports team’s stadiums, FC Barcelona. I took a tour of its inside and was just blown away, if only there was a match happening while we were there! Continuing, Paris was just as awesome of a city to indulge in. Every corner I went to had another spectacle of a sight to see; the weather was crispy too throughout this vast city, giving it almost a grand European New York vibe. One of my roommates and I had a spontaneous moment our last night and ventured to see the Golden Castle of Versailles so we could scratch that off the list, but this house is just so huge and its gardens behind it easily take over an hour to trek from one end to the other, so for future reference Versailles is a whole day ordeal. Nevertheless, I am so glad I was able to have such a unique fall break, I know that I definitely will come back to these cities in the future. Until next time readers, ciao!
