During our time here, Rollins paid for all of the Rollins students to go on a trip to Byron Bay. This trip included snorkeling and a surfing lesson. We got in on the Friday and just walked around Byron. We had pizza on the beach and just relaxed. On Saturday, we woke up and went to go snorkeling. The boat was really shaky so I felt a little sea sick. The water was absolutely freezing but it was fun to go out there together! We also had our surfing lesson later in the day. We stayed at a hostel that was always flooded with people partying at every hour of the day. At night, we walked around the town to see what was happening. Sunday morning, we had brunch at this cute cafe. During the day, we just tanned and relaxed on the beach. We were all in desperate need for a beach day. Around 5, we walked to the Byron Bay lighthouse which has the most incredible view. I was definitely not prepared for the hike but the view was definitely worth it. We had dinner together and just relaxed in the hostel the night. It was so nice to go on a trip together. It definitely brought us closer together too! Below is a picture of Byron Bay!
