Well it’s official. 11 days left in London and I genuinely don’t know what to do with myself.
Last week was a bit rough, having to spend Thanksgiving away from my family. However, CAPA held a Thanksgiving dinner for us and while I knew it wouldn’t be the same, it was nice to be among the people I have grown closer to during my time here and even win £20 during the pub quiz in between courses. Then, on Saturday we went to a rugby match. I honestly cannot begin to explain what was going on, but it was really fun to just spend the day with friends and in that sporting event atmosphere.
It’s hard to begin to wrap my head around the fact that my time here in London is coming to an end. I have to be honest, though: I am ready to come home. I’m ready to see my family, my friends, spend Christmas in New York, and get back to Rollins. With finals and the start of packing right around the corner, the anxiety and anticipation are setting in. There’s still so much left to do in these next two weeks between school work, taking in the last moments of London, and packing. I uprooted my life three months, and here I am almost at the point of having it come to an end as quickly as it began.
