I cannot believe there are just 11 days left until my flight back to the US. Time is going so fast, as it has the entire semester, and there is still so much left to do. I have a few things on my bucket list, such as the Tower of London, Tower Bridge, the British Museum, and Wicked. If I have time I would also like to go back to some places, including Regent’s Park, Camden Market, South Bank, and walking along the Canal. In the meantime, I have a group project (paper and presentation, final paper, and final until I am officially done with all of the coursework.
The few free moments I get, I find myself already reminiscing about the fabulous semester it has been. The recent highlights were going to Prague, seeing Mamma Mia and CATS, seeing a performance at the Globe Theatre, and going to the rugby game on Saturday. A friend and I went on the Bus2Alps trip to Prague. A couple of walking tours took us to Old Town Square, the Jewish Quarter, the Clock Tower, Prague Castle, John Lennon Wall, and other areas in the city. It was so much fun, and it was my first time staying in a hostel! Although it was very cold and windy, my weekend in Prague was a great break.
Thanksgiving this year was celebrated with CAPA staff, friends, and peers. The event was well put together, a dinner at the Holiday Inn by Russell Square. I am certainly thankful for so many things, especially the opportunity to live, study, and work here in London. It was difficult spending the holiday away from family and friends at home, but I will be seeing them in just a couple of weeks.
My goal for the remainder of the semester is to make the most of every moment, which is something I should do generally anyway.
