This past weekend I went to a Christmas Market. I was so excited because my favorite holiday is Christmas, and I love all the lights and music, so I get really excited to do anything Christmassy. We went to the Winter Wonderland Christmas market in Hyde Park, and it was fun to walk around and see the lights. It was pretty much just a fair with Christmas music though. I have been really enjoying walking around the city at night, lately, because of all the lights.
Before the Christmas Market, we went to a hotel to have tea, which I was glad I was able to do before I left. I also went on the London Eye last week, and it was breathtaking to see the city from the top. Unfortunately, my time abroad is coming to a close, and I leave to go home in a week and a half. Instead of being able to keep exploring the city these next ten days, I will be studying for my finals, and working on a long essay. I cannot believe how fast my time abroad has gone. It seems like just yesterday I was getting on a plane to come here. I wish I had more time to spend in London, and I will be really sad to leave next week.
