It’s pretty surreal that my time studying abroad in London is over, a little over 3 months has come and gone in a blink of an eye. Tomorrow I will be boarding a plane home to New York, although I’m excited to see my family and friends, I can’t get over the people I’ve meant and the lasting memories I’ve made while here. It’s going to feel so different not using the tube everyday and living in a flat in the beautiful Earl’s Court. Living in a city was something I never thought I would do, but it has been a blessing having the opportunity to do so. From the markets, to weekend travels, to exploring sights like Big Ben, The Buckingham Palace, and The London Eye, my time abroad allowed me to do things I thought was far from reach. The most recent thing I’ve enjoyed was seeing all of the Christmas decorations, visiting Winter Wonderland, and going to a charity Christmas caroling evening, Christmas with the Stars at the Royal Albert Hall. The caroling concert really got me into the Christmas spirit as there were sing along opportunities and great performances, one which was a guy from X-Factor! All, in all, my time here has been an experience of a lifetime, it’s just shocking how quickly my time abroad has come to an end. London will be missed! I hope to have the opportunity to revisit sometime in the future.
