Apart from Ramen that I enjoy to the bottom of my heart, I left a lot of things in Japan, including but not limited to my favorite ceramic pieces and many friendships that ended in a see you again rather than a bye bye.
The hardest thing was to realize that I will not be seeing her, who is my best friend that I met at SH2. If there is one person in the world who makes me feel comfortable that person is her. あの人が大好きだよ。 She also was willing to take care of my ceramics pieces. I guess it’s a “see you again for sure” because I am pretty sure I cannot leave my ceramic pots behind.
I left a bit early to South Korea so I will be missing the graduation ceremony but there are more things that I already miss so I guess it is fine.
However, South Korea has been awesome so far. I arrived last night and got taught by the owner of a Korean barbecue on how to eat it the Korean way. Today on the other hand, I met up with a friend I met at Jacobs University, Germany. The world really is small. If not, what are the chances of me coming across my classmate at a random corner of the street in a random street in South Korea.
The best thing about travelling and experiencing the inexperienced is you never know what comes next, at least that’s my travel style. But one thing is for sure, the world gets smaller and smaller but it “feels” bigger the more I travel. So many places left to see yet!
