As I embark on this four week journey, I wondered what to expect. Sure this was not my first time in Germany, nor was it my first time studying here and living with a family. The city of Münster was completely new to me however. Having been to Berlin, Köln, Munich, Stuttgart, Freiburg, and several other German cities I was most fascinated with what the sub-culture of Münster will be like.
From my first few days here I could gather that it is not as art driven as Berlin, and it is not as stereotypically German as Munich. Apart from the bicycles, understanding the culture here in Münster is something that will take more time and exploration.
