After stepping off the train and seeing Münster, Germany for the first time and how beautiful it was, I remembered that I could not capture it’s beauty because my cell phone had been stolen on the first day. However, 3 days later I realized that I could simply buy a digital camera to share photographs with my family and friends back home but also keep them for years to come.
Something that I found interesting when I first arrived here in Münster was how many bikes are in the city! I had heard that there would be a lot of bikes but I didn’t know that it would be this many. There are parking garages that are just for bikes because so many people use them, it’s incredible! My host family has bikes as well and they ride them everywhere, the children ride them to school and the parents ride them to work.
I’m extremely excited that I get to experience this city in Europe and I cant wait to see what else it has to offer in the short future to come!
Tschüss!
I find it amazing and almost surreal how many people ride bikes. It’s a major culture shock considering everyone in the United States has a car. I hope your phone issue works out!
