So far here in Madrid up until the halfway point I have seen a lot of sights, eaten a lot of food and have had a lot of cervezas. But so far my favorite experience hasn’t occured in Madrid it actually occurred in a city about 45 minutes south, in the city Toledo. Toledo is a very historic city and is a UNESCO world heritage site due to its extensive heritage. Historically the city was split into 3 parts, one housing the Jews, one housing the Muslims and one housing the Christians. All of which co-existed peacefully. The city has very beautiful architecture and the picture above is the cathedral located in the city.
