To be honest this blog post has a required topic and I’m not 100% clear on what that is sooo here goes a genuine attempt.
Ya’ll. I’m going to FREAKING IRELAND. For 14 weeks.
I’m pretty sure I’m supposed to be writing about my goals/expectations for the halfway point of this semester. First of all, I really hope I’m having a hell of a time. If I haven’t been to at least 2 other countries by now I’ll be pretty disappointed in future me. In regards to school, I hope that I’m not drowning in work, but I better be working hard. I think my only difficult class will be analytical chemistry, so hopefully I met some other science people and we’re getting through it together. Speaking of people, I hope I have gotten to know a lot of them! I’m expecting the Irish and international students to be friendly and welcoming and I’m sure it’ll all be great and lovely.
That’s pretty much all for now, I don’t want to go into this with too many expectations because whatever happens, happens. I’m sure it’ll be wonderful and beautiful and fantastic though, and I CAN’T WAIT (also my flight is about to board).
See ya’ll on the other side…of the world wowowowwow.
