It’s really hard to believe I only have less than two months left here in New Zealand. Plus, we only have less then one month before classes are over and finals begin. All I have is two essays between me and studying for those tests.
Since last time, a bunch of our friends from the same study abroad program that are studying in Auckland came to visit Dunedin for a week. It was so amazing to see everyone again. There was a lot of hanging out, going out to parties, and going out to eat that week.
This past weekend I went with one of my flatmates and our neighbors to walk up to Signal Hill. It’s a really cool lookout that has great views of all of Dunedin. It was surprisingly hot that day, about 60 degrees, so the walks uphill were a bit tiring, but it was all worth it. It’s been pretty warm down here in Dunedin to all our excitement. The rains have slowly begun to stop and we’ve been having more sunny skies.
Yesterday I finally made it to Nugget Point with a friend that I met here from New Caledonia. We’d been planning this trip for a long time so it was great to finally be able to do it. It’s definitely a must see when in Dunedin because the ocean views are spectacular. We had another surprisingly warm day again, almost 70 degrees, so it made the day even better.
Today I have to start writing a 2000 word paper, so it looks like another day spent in the library. Until next time!
