Ahhh! 3 days late on my blog post because school work has been insane lately! We are nearing the end of classes (3 weeks left) and all those last minute papers and readings need to be done. I wrote 2 papers in 2 days, and it’s safe to say that I am exhausted. I need to write one more paper until I am officially done with schoolwork until finals! I am so excited to be able to relax until my first final – October 31st.
These past 2 weeks have been pretty quiet. After spring break, people just wanted to recover from how tired we all were. However, our friends from Auckland all came down for a week and visited us! It was so nice to be able to have so many of us in one place and see my friends that I made in Fiji.
A couple of friends and I also went to Cadbury World and ate some yummy chocolate goodies while catching up with our program demonstrator.
This weekend should be great, all of the people in my program and I are headed to Wanaka! A cute little town near Queenstown. They are famous for a tree that is photographed that is in the middle of the lake. This time when we go, we’re going to hike a VERY difficult hike – Roy’s Peak! It closes after this weekend for lambing season, so it’s our last chance to do it. The day after we’re doing another long hike, we’ll see if I make it out alive…
I’ll keep you guys posted, things will definitely be picking up after this week!
