It’s already been about a month since I first got over here. Time is absolutely flying by, because you know what they say “time fly’s when you’re having fun”. Which is true I am having fun. I’ve met so many awesome people and been to so many awesome places. I’ve been almost everywhere in Central London. I’ve been to Stonehenge and Bath. And this weekend I am taking a trip to Barcelona Spain to celebrate my birthday. My birthday was yesterday (October 5th) and to be able to say I celebrated my 20th Birthday in London with some of my closest friends isn’t something that many people are able to say. So I am grateful for that. My friends even tricked me into having a surprise birthday dinner. They all pretended all day that they were busy with school work and couldn’t do anything so I was kind of bummed out to be honest. But later on that night I was walking to go out to dinner with one of my close friends that pretended that they were the only one that could actually do something and once we walk in the restaurant, everyone was sitting at a table and yelled surprise. And I was surprised for sure. It was the best birthday present I could’ve gotten. Being surrounded by all of my friends is all that really matters. And this weekend the celebrations continue on in Barcelona. I can’t wait to see what barcelona is all about I’ve heard only good things about it and am ready to get over there. My spanish is not up to par but luckily I have a friend that speaks fluently.
