Well it has been exactly a month since I have arrived in Spain. I have been doing a lot of travelling ever since I have arrived in Spain. The weekend of September 23rd, my friends and I visited Barcelona. Barcelona is a beautiful city. While in Barcelona, I visited Sagrada Familia, Parc Güell, Picasso Museum, and the Gothic Quarter. The Sagrada Familia is a church that was designed by Antoni Gaudi, who was an architect that designed the main points of interest within Barcelona. Parc Güell is another place that Gaudí designed, and it was by far my favorite place in the city because you can see all of Barcelona when you reach the top of the park. In addition to Gaudi’s monuments in Barcelona, I visited Pablo Picasso’s Museum located in the Gothic Quarter, which had all of his earlier works. The Gothic Quarter of Barcelona is the old city center of Barcelona, and was quite interesting.
The following weekend I traveled to Munich and Prague. I made it into Munich just in time for Oktoberfest, and atmosphere there was lively. While in Germany, I visited the BMW and Audi Museums, which was the highlight of the trip. I also visited Marienplatz, which is the Munich’s main city square. After seeing the main city square, I went to Hofgarten, which is a very beautiful, tranquil garden.
Prague is by far the most beautiful city I have visited so far. I went to the Charles Bridge, which is a famous historic bridge that crosses over the Vladtv River and it is the only way to get from Prague’s Old City to the Prague Castle. The Prague Castle is a complex that has a palace, garden, and cathedral, and it was absolutely incredible.
