I can’t believe that I am already half way through my time in London! This week we have midterms and lots of school work, but next week is the fall break week which means lots of travelling. I can’t wait to take a break away from class and work and get to do some exploring throughout Europe. Don’t get me wrong, being in London has been a lot of fun, however I feel like I have gotten into a lull, I work or go to class all day and then go home to hang out with friends and eat dinner. It’s not like being back home at Rollins where I can eat whenever I want using meal plan money and not have to walk more than 3 minutes between class and home.
On a more positive note, I have gotten the chance to do and see some amazing things. This past weekend my friends and I went on a Jack the Ripper tour where we learned about the mysteries and theories behind who Jack the Ripper and his victims really were. And on Friday, as part of my internship, I went to a benefit gala for Maiti Nepal, a non profit that works to end sex trafficking in Nepal and India.
Even though I have been here for almost two months, there is still so much I want to do in the city. It feels like there is no time left!
