It’s hard to believe that I will be leaving this beautiful country in two weeks. Who know that 5 months could fly by so quickly.
These past couple of weeks have been again mostly filled with studying for my four finals. Two of them are this Monday in fact. Last week, a couple of friends and I drove down to the peninsula to St. Clair beach to check out the St. Clair Hot Salt Water Pool. The pool is literally right next to the ocean. Sometimes waves are strong enough breech the wall and break right into the pool! It was nice to be able to swim outdoors again, something I miss doing back home at Rollins.
The next weekend, a few of my fellow Tars that are studying abroad with me here in Dunedin and I went to the peninsula again to go see Lover’s Leap and The Chasm. It was a beautiful sunny day, but little did we know it would be so windy on the hills of the peninsula. The rock formations were really cool to look at and there were so many sheep and lamb running around.
I’ve still got one more trip planned before I board the 13 hour flight back home in two weeks. Just have to get through these four exams and I’ll be home free!
