I cannot believe I only have a month left here in Rome. This experience has flown by, and I still feel like I have so much to see! When people ask me where my favorite place is that I have traveled, I can’t help but to say Rome. There is just so much to do here, I feel like 4 months is not even long enough. There is so much I still have left to see and eat! I really hope this month does not fly by like all of the others have. It feels like yesterday that I was on the shuttle, passing unfamiliar sights, and trying to adjust to everything new around me. My parents and brother come next week for Thanksgiving. This will be my first Thanksgiving away from home, but I am really excited to see my family! It is actually getting cold here, appreciate the warmth at Rollins because I would be so happy to be able to wear my shorts and t-shirts again. This weekend I go to Barcelona, which I am so excited for. I have been studying Spanish since 6th grade, so I can’t wait to actually use it when out and about. Barcelona is a place I have always wanted to go, so I hope It is everything I imagine it to be. The following weekends I am staying in Rome, seeing the sights that I have yet to get to. It is going to be so strange to pack my stuff up when I have to leave because I feel like I just arrived. I am for sure going to have reverse culture shock when I get home.
