November 22nd
One more month left. One more month of cold mornings, train rides to the Bremen Hauptbahnhof, rainy days and streets filled with bakeries. Quite frankly I will miss Germany. I never wanted the time to fly by because I do like this place very much. The University is alright, not my favorite because I miss Rollins very much but I would not mind shipping my house, my friends and family here to northern Germany. I could see myself living in this country because I really do like the culture and traditions! But the language is quite difficult. I just silently listening to Germans talk at the central train station, buses or trains and although I can understand more I am still timid out of my mind to open my mouth and say something in German. In addition I really want to visit southern Germany because I leave on the 22nd of December. I still have time to plan a train trip but with finals just around the corner I’m not sure how well everything will work out. In addition, Physics at this university is so hard and I cannot wait to be done with this class. This was a small reflection I was thinking about on my way back from the gym. Then I saw the sky (see below) and I felt very blessed to be here. Not exactly a popular city like London, Rome or Paris but still a city that makes my happy. Plus, Germany is the cleanest country I’ve been to.
Bis später!
