Concerts and traveling are in my opinion the best way to spend your money. So a few weeks ago, I did just that. Me and a few friends rented a car, drove to Cologne (Köln in German) and went to see Flume! It was definitely a night to remember.
I was in charge of driving. Driving on the Autobahn was really stressful at first, with rain and all, but we made back to Reutlingen without a dent… so I couldn’t have been that bad of a driver, right?
Even though we should up a lotta late, we didn’t miss the headliner… phew. Flume had so much energy on stage, the sound system was great, and the vibes that were flowing through the venue were phenomenal. It was the perfect way to take a step back from all the stress of school, appreciate the moment, and realize how lucky I am to be alive.
The concert was on 11/11 and that is a super important day in Köln. It marks the beginning of Carnival and is celebrated through parties and costumes and fun fun fun! So after the concert, we went to the city and took part in the final hours of festivities. After a long night, we went back to Reutlingen with one less phone and a lovely, slightly used, banana suit.
