The past few weeks are going by so fast! With traveling every weekend and keeping up with school work during the week, it seems like my time here is coming to an end too soon. Two weeks ago I took a weekend trip to Copenhagen with friends from the program. We walked around, visited museums, and ate a ton of food. My favorite place was the Nyhaven canal and seeing the city from the top of the Round Tower. This past weekend I traveled by myself to Oviedo, Spain to visit some friends studying there for the semester. It was really good to see some familiar faces and has made me excited to be back at Rollins.
Today being Thanksgiving is pretty difficult, as I usually spend it going to my aunt’s house for lunch with my mom’s side and then my grandma’s with my dad’s side for dinner. However, my program is putting on a dinner for all the students. Everyone is getting dressed up and even professors and their families are coming. I’m missing home and am excited for the holidays. Yet I don’t want to leave Europe either. I love the ease of traveling, most places are only a two hour flight away. This trip has definitely planted the travel bug in me, as I am already planning future trips.
