This semester is almost over, and I am just about to start packing for my journey back home. After living in Kansas my whole summer and only being home two weeks in the past six months, I am very eager to return. This past week, I was able to travel around Italy (Rome, Florence, and Venice). I got to see a few other Rollins students, and one spent his whole weekend showing us around! There was an endless amount of gelato and pizza. I ate some of the best food I have ever eaten. Florence was my favorite city, and I was able to different buildings and art known worldwide.
Before I started this program, the most I was out of the country was on cruises to Mexico, Honduras, Aruba, etc. In the past three months I was able to travel to Madrid, London, Barcelona, Brussels, Amsterdam, Munich, Rome, Florence, and Venice. Every free chance I had, I hopped on a plane with my twin and went somewhere new. It made me realize how easy it is to move around Europe, and it made me think about all the other opportunities I can have in Europe. I will never forget seeing these places for the first time with my twin sister.
