The second half of November, just like the rest of my time spent here in London, flew by. My classes at Queen Mary began to get a little more serious as the first deadlines began to approach, but the coursework continued to be enjoyable. Socially, these past two weeks I’ve really gotten to know the people I’ve met here and the times we’ve had have only improved because of this. Some of my favorite memories from these weeks include accidentally finding a chicken and waffle restaurant in Shoreditch, hosting a Thanksgiving dinner with some other Americans at Queen Mary, going to a restaurant on the 30th floor of a building in central London, and getting dinner with my friend’s family who were visiting him in London. I’m beginning to realize that I’m going to cherish the memories I’ve made in London for the rest of my life. In retrospect I wish I had brought a decent camera and carried it around all the time to capture the great moments I’ve had here at Queen Mary. However, whether or not I have pictures of all the times I’ve had here, I know I’ll remember them for a long time. Academically, I’m preparing myself for the next two weeks I have here before I leave on the 16th because I know there are deadlines and exams coming up.
