It’s hard to believe that it’s been two weeks already, as they have completely flown by. Within the first two weeks of being in Ireland, I have noticed the incredible hospitality of the Irish people, everyone who I’ve encountered thus far have been very helpful and courteous. During the first week here I went into Dublin and visited a few places in Dublin including a Disney shop on Grafton Street that had Irish-themed Disney merchandise. During this trip to Dublin, I also visited Trinity College, the oldest university in Ireland, and walked around the campus for a bit.
Maynooth itself is a beautiful city, earlier this week I walked down a long path that was surrounded on both sides by beautiful trees and led to a beautiful golf course. The view on the path was absolutely lovely and definitely worth another trip later. There is still plenty of Maynooth and the rest of Ireland that I look forward to exploring in the coming months.
The classes that I have enrolled in are very interesting and will definitely take some work from me in order to excel in these courses, but I am glad to be able to experience the Irish economy by taking a course in it and living in the country for a few months.
