I can not believe that I have completed half of my study abroad experience in London. When I first arrived in London the days went by really slow, but now the days are going by fast and the weeks even faster. I have truly come to love London a lot. Being here I have learned so much about the metropolitan city, had the opportunity to work alongside people in the community (thanks to my Internship), and got to travel and explore in different parts of the United Kingdom and Europe. Now that I completed half my study abroad experience and Spring Break has now approach, I am going to make sure that I finish the program off strong and have fun while doing so.
When it comes to Spring Break, I am very excited about traveling, exploring, and relaxing. During my spring break, I would be first staying in London and going to all the cool theaters, musicals, restaurants, pubs, and museums that the city offers. I am so excited to attend the Motown Musical in London that will be premiering this week. Growing up my family and I use to listen to Motown soundtracks and watch the Motown movie all the time. I even had the chance to visit the Motown Museum in College on a student trip I lead through the Immersion Program at Rollins College. I really enjoy Motown and look forward to singing my heart out during the musical. For the last part of my Spring Break, I will be traveling to Northern Ireland to visit the famous city Belfast with my flatmate. I look forward to this experience because I love traveling to new places and trying different cuisines. Overall I look forward to my Spring Break and can not wait to let you guys know how it goes.
