My spring break was absolutely amazing! I stayed in London for four days and went to Belfast for three days. While in London I went to the Motown Musical, Tower Bridge, National History Museum, Hyde Park, Mother Africa Circus, Church, etc. I am glad that I stayed in London for the first half of my spring break. I got a chance to explore the city and gain a deeper appreciate for the arts that reside in the area. However my favorite part of my spring break was when I visisted Belfast.
When it comes to Belfast, it is one of the hidden gems that Northern Ireland has to offer. From the titanic exhibit to city hall, Belfast has cool attractions despite it being so small. Many may wonder why I chose Belfast instead of going to Rome, Germany, etc for my spring break. I decided to go to Belfast because I wanted to go somewhere that was unique, rich in culture, rich in history, slow pace, and relaxing. When it came to those requirements Belfast was the perfect fit.
My favorite part about visiting Belfast was the Titanic Exhibition. The exhibition was spectacular, it had nine galleries and one consists of a simulation ride! I was so thrill that the exhibit was located near the exact dock that the Titanic launch off of to start its voyage. I really enjoyed the aftermath section of the exhibit. In this section it informs you about the myths and facts about the Titanic, movies that were based off the ship, and how some of the ships parts were later discovered. Overall my trip to Belfast was amazing and I definitely recommended it as a place people have to visit.
