I enjoyed the trip to Paris with my religion class; below are a few photos from the weekend.

This past weekend, I went to London with a few friends for the first time. On Saturday, we walked from the north end of the Palace of Westminster, through Hyde Park, and after to Notting Hill, a beautiful district in West London known for its open market, pubs, and galleries. That evening, we visited a few different bars and pubs in Cambridge, including the Alchemist, specializing in the dark arts of molecular mixology. The atmosphere was entertaining and attractive, and the eccentricity made our time there an experience. Also referred to as a concept bar, the Alchemist has an extensive hand-crafted cocktail menu that incorporates dry-ice, foam, and bubbles to each drink.
The other local pubs we visited were more low-key but were still pleasing and enjoyable. I tried Strawberry-lime cider, which is brewed using fresh spring water (from Vimmerby, Sweden) by a company called Rekorderlig.
