Finals season has arrived here in Ireland as I wrapped up my final lectures last week, and will have my first exam tomorrow. (Exams on Saturday are very odd) The exam period stretches over a 3-week timeframe, which varies greatly with Rollins. I have 4 final exams and for the majority of my classes are factored highly into my final grade for the class so I have been studying up for each of these exams since my classes ended last week.
My classes that I have had throughout the semester are similar in size to my classes at Rollins, with only one class having 40+ students in it. The courses or modules that they are called in Ireland, are predominantly lecture-based however one of the courses is more interactive with the professor engaging the class like how the majority of the classes are at Rollins. Another one of my courses involves a lot of work in Excel and the professor makes sure that everyone understands how to solve the problems and set up everything in Excel before he moves onto the next topic.
It’s hard to believe that my journey here is almost over, I’ll be leaving Ireland in the next two weeks after my exams. I can’t imagine how it will be to adjust back in the States.
