As I am in my final weeks at Uni I have been doing a lot of reminiscing on my time abroad. I honestly feel like I have only been here for maybe a month or two. I cannot believe how fast my time here is coming to an end. I have gone on so many great adventures here and I have met so many amazing new people. A lot of the friends that I have made here are also international students abroad. Some of these students are here for a semester like me and others go to school here and are from here. I have met a lot of kiwis and they are all super nice. I have made connections with people who are from all over the states and the world and I know that I will always have these connections. I am already planning trips to see some of my friends again.
I am in the middle of the final exams period here which is about a month long. The way they do exams here is very different from how they do it back home. Classes usually have 2-3 big assignments then the final exams here are worth at least 50% of your grade or more depending on the class. one of my classes final exams is worth 60% of my grade… YIKES!! I can honestly say that exams here is one thing that I will not be missing when I get back home. But that is pretty much the only thing. I am really gonna miss this place, the people, the school and just the overall environment. New Zealand is such a beautiful place! The landscape is so beautiful and full of life. I am really going to miss seeing sheep every time I drive past a field or other animals like cows, deer, pigs, horses etc.
I have been on so many cool trips and adventures here that I will remember for the rest of my life. I also got to check off quite a few things from my bucket list such as bungee jumping in NZ, Skydiving and going to samoa.
