Hello,
London is my favorite place. I always had this childhood dream that I’d move to London and I’d love it. Well now I can finally say that it is true. It will always hold a special place in my heart. I will be extremely sad when I have to leave. While some things never change, it always has something new to look at. For instance, my friend and I passed a pop-up shop. It was only up for two weeks and we were there for the 2nd to last day. It was magical because we didn’t even know it was there and it was selling these amazing hot chocolate drinks that you could customize with toppings. In Orlando, this kind of stuff would be rare and very difficult to find out, but here in London there are pop-up shops of all different kinds all over the place.
I am planning exploring London as much as I can before I leave. But London is so large and extensive that it would take years to see everything it has to offer. However, I hope that it at least snows one more time before I leave. I was hoping for a white Christmas, since that will never happen in Orlando. However, since it normally doesn’t snow in December, I may not be prepared for colder weather than right now. The lowest it’s gotten is around -5 degrees and that was a nightmare during the night. Nonetheless, there’s something beautiful about walking around the center and it’s cold, but appreciating the moment regardless. I walked down Oxford Street and Bond Street tonight and it’s amazing the lengths Londoner’s go to celebrate Christmas. It was utterly beautiful. They even had fake bubble snow raining down on the tourists to put them in an even more Christmasy spirit.
Goodbye London, it’s been a pleasure!
