Prior to this trip, I have never traveled to Europe. The history and culture is so rich here and I’ve have only seen Spain. The small mountain town of Candelario stuck out to me and has been one of my favorite trips yet because of how I got to bond with my friends and experience the wilderness of Spain. We hiked up a mountain and nearly made it to the snow caps but we were running out of daylight. We created our own trails and experienced the feeling of success together by witnessing one of the most unbelievable views around. To add, Candelario had the best ham (chorizo, white chorizo , prosciutto) that I have ever had. All of these great experiences added up to make my trip completely worth while.
