This picture was taken on a hike I did with several classmates in Candelario. We were in the gorgeous mountains of Spain and we needed to see those mountains. The hike brought us off the trail a bit and we found ourselves in the very heart of the Spanish mountain range. Our urge to explore pushed us through the dense terrain to go further into the wild. When joey and I came across a pile of rocks we dared ourselves to scale the obstacle. The climb had us going up rocks where we could barely stand on our toes. After a three minute ascend into the rocks we reached the summit of the pile. When looking down upon the compatriots that we journeyed with we were in awe of the view we had achieved. In this moment I knew we needed a picture to crystallize this moment for all of eternity. That was when I took this selfie. This image will be cherished as a fond memory of my journey I took through the Spanish mountains with my good friends.
