Rome truly is spectacular and better than I could have ever imagined! I could literally talk about my love for Rome for hours. The food, the amazing wine, the amazing people (both locals and Americans), and the vibrant nightlife and vibe at night are all things I wish I could experience for the rest of my life. Rome is just a magnificent city in a sea of magnificent cities in Europe. This post, I would like to focus more on travel within Europe and how amazing it can be! A few weeks back I went to Munich, Germany, for Oktoberfest of course! It truly was the time of my life! Munich truly has some amazing food to offer, some diverse culture, beautiful landmarks, and of course a fantastic brew! I will definitely be coming back to Germany soon, it is truly one of the most beautiful countries I have ever visited. I feel like traveling all throughout Europe should be a part of every European study abroad student’s experience. I am actually writing this blog post as I am packing for a ten-day trip for fall break to Paris, France, Brussels, Belgium, Amsterdam, the Netherlands, Prague, Czech Republic, and Vienna, Austria. I could not be more excited! I am gonna be visiting some of my most dreamed about landmarks and places. Examples are the Eiffel Tower, the Louvre, the Arc de Triomph, the Anne Frank House, the Redlight District, Little Europe, the NATO Headquarters, the John Lennon Wall, the Clock Tower, the Charles Bridge, the Wiener Riesenrad, and the Hofburg Palace. These are on my bucket list. Studying abroad in Europe is great because you have access to so many different countries in a short amount of time at very affordable prices. After all, we are students and we manage to travel all throughout Europe. Being exposed to so many different countries, languages, and cultures in your short four-month stay in a European capital really helps you learn who you are and grow as a person. You discover things that you never knew about yourself and that sometimes you cannot explain to other people. After all, for me, all roads lead back to Rome. Rome is home!
