This is my 3rd day in Paris and its been great! I loved seeing la tour Eiffel and many other places like Notre Dame and Louvre. My mom came with me all the way to Paris and I loved sharing this experience with her. We had fun. We walked all over Paris until we couldn’t even feel our toes. Today I officially got to speak with the other students in the program and we had a good time. After lunch we went to get our french phone lines and I was impressed on how fast the whole process of getting the line was. Many things happened today, most of them I liked, well all of them except one, and that was saying bye to my mom. About 5 minute ago was the last time I would see her for the next 3 months. This is life, and I know Im going to learn many new things here, I mean I’m in Paris, how awesome is that? But of course I have to lean french and that is my main goal. I am able to understand a lot of it, yet I cannot speak it well. I know this experience will help me become a bit more fluent in the language. French is a language that I really want to master. While it is true that I will have to continue taking French courses when I get back to the U.S, I believe my time here in France is defiantly going to help me get better. The first days are going great and my host family is awesome. I feel lucky, most of the other kids are already complaining about their host parents. I believe my time here is going to be a time of grown for me. Being in a completely new country for me is already a step forward. I love fashion and I hope I get some opportunities here in Paris. The city is absolutely stunning even though there is so much pollution and trash. I would deffinetly love for that to change. Yet so far all I can say is that I am happy.
