I think that if any of my personal identity aspects will effect the trip it is going to be the introvert vs extrovert. In the states I am much more on the introvert side of the scale. I think many people in the U.S. are more on this side, hanging out in our dorms for the majority of the week even if we do go out a few nights a week. However, past students have said that the dorms in Germany were mainly used to sleep at night. So, I think that most people I will meet will be heavy extroverts. In Germany I think that people like this will have an advantage because there so much to see in the nearby area with friends. I can’t wait to adopt this culture and go out with new people and see new things!
