The day trip to Segovia was by far my favorite part of the first three weeks because of how unique it was. Juxaposed to the crazy and hectic city life, it was interesting to see another side to Spain. The architecture was still just as beautiful as it was in Madrid, however, it gave more of a homey, countryside vibe to it. The part I was most in awe of was the wall, pictured behind me in the photo, which were their aqueducts. It was incredible to me that it had been a functioning part of this community for years and clearly will continue to be used.
