I had the opportunity to study abroad. It is phrase that most times comes with amazing stories and positivity. It is something that will always be a part of my time at Rollins. It hard to know how my perceptions have changed given the way it all ended. I can say that it was an amazing experience. That I had the opportunity to learn a lot, to meet people, to travel to new places and to mature personally. Unfortunately, I did not get to do all of the things that I planned. I did not get to cross some things off of my bucket list that I was sure were going to be a dream come true by the end of the semester. I am happy I got to discover London. I am happy I got to drink an abnormal amount of tea and eat an even more extreme amount of Nandos. I had the opportunity of developing a great relationship with my roommate. We always communicated and related to one another. It was easy living with someone I could talk to at all times. Overall London was the dream I thought it would be and more for the time that I got to be there. I am sad we had to leave so abruptly. I am sad I felt like I had to run away from my cozy studio apartment. I am sad I did not get to say goodbye to some of the great people I was starting to get to know. It was a lot. In the end I can say I studied abroad. I lived in London. Now I am hopeful to go back some day and do the things that I wanted to still do.
