I have now been home for a little over a week and able to reflect on my time abroad. I am extremely grateful to have had the experience to study in Italy. The opportunities that I was fortunate to experience allowed me to expand my knowledge and understanding of different cultures. I met people from all over the world who helped shape my perspectives on various ideologies. Furthermore, the people who taught at the university were engaging and insightful. They were each challenging by making us speak in Italian but at the same time welcoming and helpful when we had a hiccup. Overall the experience while abroad was incredible. The places I got to visit and the people I met shaped my perspective on life.
