Visiting the Batu caves of Malaysia was unlike any experience I had ever had in a foreign country. Having never been to Asia before, I found it extremely interesting to visit temples and caves like these in Malaysia and Singapore. Being able to myself in different cultures and religions has been eye-opening , and shown me the vast differences between religions in the US compared to those Eastern Asia. I found the caves particularly impressive for the and amazing architecture surrounding the Hindu religion. Watching the rituals, traditions, and hearing the music of their religion was very interesting.
